Mr. Durrence earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia and his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, he interned at the Cobb County Solicitor General's Office and the Cobb County District Attorney's Office.
After graduating, Mr. Durrence was hired by the Solicitor General of Cobb County, Barry Morgan, as an Assistant Solicitor General. While at the Solicitor's office, he prosecuted DUIs, violent crimes, domestic violence, drug cases, theft cases, and traffic offenses. Additionally, he participated in numerous training seminars for both fellow prosecutors and members of the Cobb County Police Department.
After serving as an Assistant Solicitor General, Mr. Durrence opened his own firm and immediately and vigorously began defending the accused.
Mr. Durrence is licensed to practice in all State and Superior Courts in Georgia as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
